I’m a new chick owner and I’m eager to provide the best for my little flock. I’ve been doing some research on organic chick feed and there seems to be a lot of options out there. I want to make sure I’m providing them with high-quality nutrition to support their growth and health.
What I’m Looking For
Brand Recommendations: What are the best brands of organic chick feed that you’ve used? Any favorites or standouts?
Homemade Options: Has anyone tried making their own organic chick feed? I’d love some recipes or tips if you have any.
Nutritional Info: What should I be looking for in terms of nutritional content? Anything specific that is a must-have for chicks?
Availability: Where do you usually buy your organic chick feed? Do you have any reliable sources, either online or local?
I really appreciate any personal experiences you can share. There’s a lot of information out there, but hearing from other poultry enthusiasts will really help me decide what’s best for my chicks. Thanks in advance for your advice!
Honestly, I think chicks just love whatever is in front of them! I wouldn’t be surprised if they prefer the treasures hidden in the dirt over fancy feeds.
I tried ‘Harrison’s Bird Foods’ organic chick feed, and the results were OK, but my chicks didn’t seem as excited about it. Anyone else have experiences with that brand?
Harrison’s wasn’t for us either, mwashington. My chicks preferred ‘Manna Pro Organic.’ They gobble it up and have grown well! What are your thoughts on that one?
