Need Help with My 2 Week Old Ducklings!

Caring for My 2 Week Old Ducklings

I’ve recently got a couple of ducklings that are now about two weeks old, and I’m seeking some advice on how to best take care of them. I want to make sure I’m giving them the right environment and nutrition.

Dietary Requirements

At this age, what should I be feeding them? I know they need a good starter feed, but are there any specific brands or types that you all recommend? How often should I be feeding them throughout the day?

Environmental Needs

I’ve set up a small brooder for them, but I’m a bit unsure if the temperature is just right. They’ve been basking under the heat lamp, but I’m worried about them getting too hot or too cold. What’s the ideal temperature for 2-week-old ducklings, and how do I know if they’re comfortable?

Make sure their habitat is clean too. Dirty bedding can lead to respiratory issues. Keep an eye out for sneezing; that could be a sign they need a vet visit.
