I’ve ordered chicks from Mt. Healthy Hatcheries twice now and both times the quality has been exceptional. The birds were healthy upon arrival and have grown beautifully!

My experience with shipping was pretty smooth. They arrived just a day after the expected date, which I was okay with considering the weather conditions at that time.

I’ve had my share of issues, though. One batch of chicks was smaller than usual and took longer to mature. Anyone else faced similar problems?

Yeah, I did, but their response was pretty generic. It made me feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously. Customer service can really make or break the experience.

That’s unfortunate. I hope they improve. But overall, I still think they offer decent products.

I’ve ordered from them multiple times and find their chicks to be quite robust. Just the other day I was joking with my friend, ‘These little guys are tougher than they look!’

Definitely! I love the Rhode Island Reds. They’re hardy and good layers. But sometimes I wish their customer service matched their product quality.

I feel you! I think a lot of companies slack on support. How do you think they can improve?

A little more training for their reps could go a long way. Good support staff make even bad situations manageable.

I’ve ordered hatching eggs from them a couple of times. The hatch rate was fantastic! 95% on my last order of Marans.
